DO YOU COOK ONLY RECIPES FROM YOUR CHILDHOOD?
No, I cook Mexican recipes in general, but I do have many recipes that are related to my childhood and have been in my family since long time ago.
DO YOU USE OTHER PEOPLES’ RECIPES ON YOUR BLOG?
I cooked almost all the food you find in the blog, apart from the recipes you find in the Cooking Comadres section, where I can cook together with another person. The recipes you find in my blog are traditional Mexican recipes that a lot people in Mexico know how to cook, I also have a section of “Favourite Blogs” where I mentioned the blogs I follow and I like to read.
CAN I USE YOUR PHOTO OR RECIPE ON MY WEBSITE OR BLOG?
It is nice to see my pictures in other places as long as you contact me first and get my permission.
WHAT’S YOUR BACKGROUND IN FOOD?
I do not have professional cooking background, I cook because I love food and cooking and I have learnt how to cook through my family.
HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU MAKE EACH RECIPE?
I have made most of the recipes several times, but there are recipes that take too long to cook, so probably I cook those recipes once a year.
WHAT DO YOU DO WITH ALL YOUR FOOD?
We do eat all the food I cook at home. My husband and children love Mexican food.
DO YOU ONLY COOK MEXICAN FOOD AT HOME?
No, I usually cook something Mexican every day, it can be something for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or sometimes I make a salsa. And I take weekends off from cooking properly.
IS THE FOOD YOU COOK SPICY?
No, in a real Mexican home we don’t cook spicy food every single time and also, not all the real Mexican recipes are spicy.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE RECIPE?
My favourite recipe is “Sopes Sinaloa Style”
WHAT KIND OF CAMERA DO YOU USE?
Believe it or not, I use my Iphone 5
DO YOU EDIT YOUR PICTURES?
Yes, sometimes I do edit my pictures, specially when the weather is grey as I usually rely in natural light to take my pictures.
